McGregor Projects was engaged by HB Buildings to deliver the internal refurbishment of Abbey Lodge Care Home, a 40 bed facility comprising resident bedrooms, communal areas, and staff welfare spaces. The works involved lifting existing floors to remove timber debris and replacing floor joists across all bedrooms, followed by the installation of new flooring throughout the building. 

The refurbishment also included the creation of new bathrooms and wet rooms designed to be fully DDA compliant, alongside full internal redecoration to refresh and modernise the environment. Careful planning and coordination were essential to ensure that works were delivered efficiently and safely within an occupied care setting, maintaining the comfort and wellbeing of residents and staff throughout the project.
