The project involved flood remediation across multiple floors of the Cuprum Building, a live, multi-tenant office in Glasgow. McGregor Projects delivered rapid stabilisation and reinstatement, implementing a staged drying strategy with commercial dehumidifiers and controlled ventilation. Works included repairs to the roof deck, refurbishment of ceilings, and replacement of floor finishes and substrates across seven levels. The team also fully dried the lift shaft and completed structural repairs to restore the building to full functionality.
Operating within a busy, occupied environment required precise logistics planning and close stakeholder coordination. Regular briefings with building management, FM teams, tenants, and other contractors ensured clear communication and efficient sequencing of works. The project was delivered safely and effectively, minimising disruption and returning the property to full operational use within a tight programme.
