The project involved the refurbishment of the rooftop bar at Moxy Fountainbridge. The rooftop bar was redesigned to complement the venue’s castle-view position.

The bar programme combined bespoke joinery with circular-design thinking. Existing timber elements were carefully lifted, re-finished, and repurposed into new feature walls; custom storage was integrated; and a layered scheme of feature lighting was installed to transition smoothly from daytime lounge to evening buzz. Finishes and fixtures were selected for durability and easy maintenance.

Delivery required tight logistics and coordination in an occupied city-centre hotel. Just-in-time deliveries, close liaison with hotel operations, and local sourcing for joinery, flooring, and lighting minimised disruption. The completed works delivered a revitalised rooftop bar.
